Individually, Minnesota was led by senior Ben Greve and sophomore Bronson La'Cassie, each carded a 71 and are tied for 15th. Freshman John Larson, playing in his first collegiate tournament, fired a 2-over 74 and is tied for 36th. Sophomore Naill Turner is tied for 47th after a 76 and junior Josh Persons is tied for 52nd after a 78.
The second round is tomorrow at the par 72, 6,948-yard Ocean Course at the Country Club of Landfall.
