GOPHERS HEAD EAST FOR THANKSGIVING
The No. 1 University of Minnesota women's hockey team travels east to participate in the Harvard Thanksgiving Tournament in Cambridge, Mass. The Golden Gophers will face Northeastern on Nov. 26 at noon (CST) for the first game. The Nov. 27 game features a re-match of the 2004 NCAA National Championship game between Minnesota and Harvard at 3 p.m. (CST). WCHA rival Wisconsin, will also be at the tourament, competing against Harvard on Friday and Northeastern on Saturday.

The Golden Gophers' game against Harvard will have a live webcast on the U.S. College Hockey Online's website, uscho.com. Brian Schulz will provide the play-by-play for the Harvard game on Sunday. CSTV will also provide a Gametracker for the Sunday game against Harvard. TOUGH MONTH AHEAD
The Golden Gophers started the heart of their season last weekend and extends through December. Following the Northeastern game, Minnesota faces No. 4 Harvard (11/27), No. 5 Wisconsin (12/4-5) and No. 2 Dartmouth (12/11-12). The Maroon and Gold started their stretch with a win and a tie against No. 3 Minnesota-Duluth, last weekend.
