WHK: Ross Named Rookie of the Week

WeThe Western Collegiate Hockey Association has announced that Bobbi Ross has been named the Rookie of the Week for her performance in the series split against No. 2 Dartmouth.

Ross, a forward from Verwood, Saskatchewan, scored twice in the Gophers' series split with the Big Green last weekend. Ross scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 7-5 loss and then added her second power-play tally on the weekend in Minnesota's 4-3 overtime victory Sunday. On the season, Ross has seven goals, including four on the power play, along with 10 assists.
