SOC: Golden Gophers Receive NSCAA/adidas Team Academic Award

hoThe University of Minnesota women's soccer team has received the 2003-04 NSCAA/ adidas Women's College Team Academic Award. The Golden Gophers are one of five teams from the Big Ten to receive the honor. Minnesota posted a 3.13 team grade-point- average.

This season, junior Kaitlin Neary became just the sixth player in the history of the program to be named to 2004 Academic All-District V First- Team. A total of seven Golden Gophers earned Academic All-Big Ten.
