Golden Gopher Softball Begins Season at Florida State Classic

The University of Minnesota softball team opens its 2004 campaign at the Florida State Classic this weekend in Tallahassee, Fla. The round-robin tournament features No. 20 Florida State, Louisville, Florida A&M and Illinois State. The Golden Gophers return four of eight starters and two of their top three pitchers from last year's NCAA Tournament Team.
