Horak and Wacker Earn WCHA Weekly Honors

Horak, helped the Gophers to two victories against Minnesota-Duluth in 80 minutes of action. In the first game, Horak made 31 saves en route to a 4-2 victory. Both of the goals she allowed were on the power play, including a four-on-three. Horak entered the third period of Sunday's game with the score tied 5-5. She shutout the Bulldogs stopping eight shots to earn her second win of the weekend. She finished the weekend with a 1.50 goals against average and a .951 save percentage.
Wacker scored two goals and added an assist in the Gophers' series sweep of Minnesota Duluth. Saturday, Wacker had an assist in Minnesota's 4-2 win. In the second game on Sunday, Wacker scored two goals as the Gophers completed the sweep with a 7-5 victory. She finished the weekend with three points, a plus/minus rating of +3 and a shooting percentage of .333.
