Monica Stearns Sixth in Pole Vault

Senior Monica Stearns was the only member of the Minnesota women's track & field team to compete at the Cyclone Qualifier in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday. Stearns placed sixth in the pole vault with a height of 12 feet, 3 1/2 inches.
