Women's Golf Finishes 10th at the Boilermaker Invitational

beThe University of Minnesota women's golf team finished 11th place at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind. The Golden Gophers shot rounds of 319-327-333=979 (+115) finishing 61 shots behind tournament champ Michigan State.

Individually, the Gophers were led by junior Terra Petsinger. Petsinger tied for 12th after firing rounds of 77-78-77=232 (+16). It was Petsinger's highest finish of the spring season. Freshman Sophie Stubbs tied for 35th at 245 (+29). Sophomore Jessica Thomas and sophomore Sarah Butler tied for 54th at 253 (+37) and senior Katie Jacobson tied for 64th at 265 (+49). The Golden Gophers travel to Columbus, Ohio next week for the Big Ten Tournament.
