Schauman Finishes 24th At Scandinavian Masters

MasterFormer University of Minnesota men's golfer Wilhelm Schauman carded a 75 Sunday in the final round of the Scandinavian Masters held at the Barseback Golf Club in Malmo, Sweden to finish in a tie for 24th place at 3- under par. The 2001 All-American was in second place after two rounds of the tournament but finished with back-to-back rounds of 75 on Saturday and Sunday. Schauman opened with rounds of 68-67. England's Luke Donald captured the championship at 16-under par.

Schauman recently earned his first professional tour victory on July 18, winning the Health Facilities Rehab Classic on the NGA Hooters Tour. He competes on the tour with fellow former Gopher All-Americans Simon Nash and Matt Anderson.
