Michigan State’s Lindsey Bowen and Liz Shimek, as well as, Purdue’s Katie Gearlds were named to both the coaches’ and media’s Preseason All-Big Ten Teams. The media included Wisconsin’s Jolene Anderson on their preseason squad.

Minnesota kicks off its 2005-06 season on Nov. 9 with the first of its two exhibition games. The Gophers’ first regular-season contest is on Nov. 19 versus San Francisco in the Subway Classic.
