Gophers Finish 17th at Palmetto Intercollegiate

Individually, the Gophers were led by freshman Sydney Liles. Liles finished tied for 13th, the highest finish of her career, at 13-over 229 after rounds of 74-78 today. Another freshman Suvi Mantyniemi carded rounds of 78-81 on Tuesday and finished tied for 49th at 238. Senior Sarah Butler tied for 60th at 241. Sophomore Emily Brand tied for 88th (254) and senior Jessica Thomas finished 92nd at 261.
The Gophers next tournament is February 24-26 at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Mar, P.R.
