WTF: Three Gophers Among the Top-Ten in the Heptathlon

Liz Roehrig, Jacenta Spandl, and Maggie Jaunich are each on pace to set a personal scoring record. Roehrig is currently in fifth-place after scoring 3,140 points, while Spandl sits in seventh, tallying 3,078 points during Day One. Both Roehrig and Spandl have their sights set squarely on earning an NCAA provisional qualifying score of 5,000 or more points. Jaunich scored 3,015 points and now holds ninth-place.
Day Two of the heptathlon starts tomorrow with the long jump competition at 1 p.m.
