WTF: Spandl and Roehrig Provisionally Qualify for NCAA Heptathlon

LizJacenta Spandl and Liz Roehrig both posted personal-best scores while finishing fifth and sixth, respectively in the Mt. SAC Relays heptathlon competition at Walnut Calif. Spandl scored 5,042 points and Roehrig tallied 5,004 points, each provisionally qualifying for the NCAA multi-events competition.

Maggie Jaunich also totaled a personal-best score of 4,873 points, taking tenth-place. Spandl, Roehrig, and Jaunich are now positioned in third through fifth, repectively, on the list of all-time Minnesota heptathletes.

The Gophers are set to compete in the Lee Krough Invitational at Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m.
