WR: C.P. Schlatter Named NWCA Academic All-American

AcadRedshirt freshman C.P. Schlatter has been selected to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Academic All-American Team. The St. Paris, Ohio, native sports a 3.267 grade-point-average in pre-medicine.

Schlatter qualified for his first NCAA Championship last March after placing fourth at the Big Ten Championships. After recovering from an offseason knee injury, Schlatter overcame a mid-season weight change to 157 pounds, as well as a skin infection suffered late during the regular season. He finished with a 17-11 record in his first full season with the Golden Gophers.
