WSD: Gophers Announce 2005-06 Schedule

Sept.The University of Minnesota women's swimming and diving team has finalized its 2005-06 schedule. Starting earlier then usual, the Golden Gophers start their season with the annual alumni meet, Sept. 23 and compete in their first event on Oct. 8, facing Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. The Maroon and Gold host their annual Minnesota Invitational, Nov. 18-20 at the University Aquatic Center. Following the winter training trip (Dec. 27-Jan. 15), the Gophers will host the Quad Duals, featuring Illinois, Purdue and Wisconsin on Jan. 27-28.

The Gophers will compete in the Big Ten Championships, Feb. 15-18, hosted by Ohio State. and will end the season at the NCAA Championships, hosted by Georgia.
