Scholarship and Walk-On Information
The NCAA limits the amount of scholarships that Division 1 Men's Golf programs are allowed. All programs are allowed 4.5 scholarships. Because of this small amount, it is common for the scholarships to be divided.
Walk On Opportunities
Most schools will either have recruited walk-ons or they may hold walk-on tryouts. Our tryouts here are a little different than at most other institutions. I give interested players the summer to prove themselves. I recommend that you play in a National Amateur event, the State Amateur, and the State Open, along with as many "top" notch amateur tournaments that your pocketbook will allow.During the middle of August before your freshman year please send me your tournament results from the summer. Send scores from amateur (not junior) tournaments. I will take this information and determine if you can contribute to our overall goals. If I find that you can, you will be invited to the walk-on tournament in early September, with the current members of the team.
Tuition Information
North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin residents are eligible to pay tuition that's comparable to the in-state rate. Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Nebraska residents are eligible to pay reduced tuition through the Midwest Student Exchange Program.Crousore Bunker Shot: 2025 B1Gs
