Gopher Dancers Win in Chicago

GoThe 3-time National Champion Minnesota Dance Team swept the competition at the Universal Dance Association’s College Camp winning the home routine title for the 4th consecutive year. The Golden Gopher dancers traveled to Chicago, IL where they participated in a dance intensive August 3rd – 7th along with other contenders from around the country including the University of Wisconsin, Michigan State, the University of Kansas, the University of Michigan and University of Iowa. Along with their first victory of the 2005-2006 season the Gophers also took home a 4th place trophy in the fight song division. Congratulations to the University of Minnesota Dance Team and good luck on the road to your 4th National Championship!
