What’s your favorite food? spaghetti

Favorite movie? Million Dollar Baby

Favorite musical group/band? Dave Matthews Band

Favorite summer activity in Minnesota? going to a friend's lakeside cabin near Brainerd

Favorite winter activity in the Minnesota? Watching movies and drinking hot cocoa

Favorite TV show? Friends

Favorite class you've taken at the "U"? History and philosophy of sport

Favorite sports other than gymnastics? downhill skiing and basketball

What is one word your teammates would use to describe you? upbeat

If you could be on the cover of any magazine, what would it be? Time

If you could take a vacation to any place in the world, and you didn't have to pay for it, where would you want to go? Europe - Italy, France, and Germany

If you could meet any famous person, who would you want to meet?Tom Hanks, he's my favorite actor

If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would buy? I'd buy something nice for my parents, they have spoiled me for a long time, so it would be nice to do something to spoil them a little bit

When you were growing up, who was your hero? my mom

Before a competition, what do you do to prepare yourself for the meet?I relax, go for a walk, I don't do a lot, I just try to stay low key

What is something you always pack to take with you on a road trip? clean underwear

How did you choose your major (kinesiology)? I love sports, and knowing how the body works. I would like to go into athletic training, physical therapy, or sports psychology

What has been the most challenging thing about your college experience? Adjusting to being away from home

What is the best bit of advice that you’ve received from the coaches? Stay positive, and do the best you can do

What advice would you give to the incoming freshmen? Don't let yourself get overwhelmed, take things day by day

What are you working on over the summer to get ready for the 2006 season? I've been working on consistency with the skills I already have in my routines, I've upgraded the tumbling in my floor routine, and I'm doing a pike half on vault

What are your goals for the upcoming season? I would like to be in the competition lineup on floor, beam, and vault, and have a solid bars routine so I can compete on bars if the team needs me

What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? I should be done with school, have a career, and I'd like to have a family. I think I'd like to go back to Reno, I really like Minnesota, but Reno is home
