SOC: Minnesota Helps Conference Dominate Big Ten-Big XII Challenge

BayThanks in part to the Golden Gophers' 1-0-1 record last weekend, the Big Ten dominated the first-annual Big Ten-Big XII Challenge. Big Ten teams held an 8-4-5 record last weekend. Minnesota tied Baylor, 1-1, on Friday night, and defeated Texas Tech, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon.

Northwestern led the Big Ten with a 2-0-0 record with wins against Texas Tech and Baylor. Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin joined Minnesota with 1-0-1 records. Indiana went 1-1-0, while Iowa finished 0-1-1. Purdue dropped both of its weekend matches.
