Why did you want to become a Golden Gopher?
"I love Minnesota and have always been a fan of the Golden Gophers. I also liked the girls and the coaches."
What impact do you hope to make on the Minnesota softball program?
"I hope to push everyone as well as myself to improve and hopefully make it to the College World Series."
What is your personality on the field?
"I am talkative and loud."
What is your highest ambition in softball?
"To compete at the College World Series with the Golden Gophers."
What has been your biggest sports thrill to date?
"Winning back-to-back state championships at Burnsville."
Do you have any softball rituals?
"Nope."
Who has made the biggest impact on your softball career?
"My Dad and Brian Wester. Both have been there through everything and have been really supportive."
What advice would you give to young softball players?
"To give 100 percent in every practice, no matter what else is going on outside of softball."
What has been your proudest moment?
"When we won state for the first time. We had an interesting season and still pulled it off in the end."
What famous person do you most admire?
"Oprah."

"Burnsville, Minn., is located about 20 miles south of Minneapolis. It is a normal town with a mall, a Target and a lot of good places to eat."
Who has been your biggest sports influence?
"My dad. He loves sports and has always encouraged me to be as active as possible."
Share one great thing about your mother/father you would like everyone to know
"There are both super supportive and have always taught me to strive to do my best in everything I do. I love them very much."
What is your favorite movie?
"The Notebook."
What is your favorite food?
"Any dessert, especially chocolate!"
Other than sports, what is your favorite pastime?
