Gophers Tie For 11th At Lady Paladin Invitational

The University of Minnesota women's golf team tied for 11th at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C. The Gophers fired a third round 323 for a 54-hole total of 103-over-par 967, 55 shots behind tournament champion Northwestern.
The Gophers were led by all tournament by junior Kelli Berns. Berns carded a final round 80 and tied for 20th at 19-over 235. Freshman Christine Herzog also carded an 80 on Sunday and tied for 45th at 25-over 241. Sophomore Sydney Liles tied for 56th at 28-over 244 and sophomore Young Na Lee tied for 65th at 31-over 247. Junior Emily Brand had an 82 in the final round an tied for 85th at 262.
The Gophers return to action on Oct. 16-17 at the Georgia State Invitational.
