Mike VanBeusekom Places Third at St. John's Fall Finale

Senior Mike VanBeusekom finished third to pace the Minnesota men’s cross country team at the St. John’s Fall Finale in Collegeville, Minn., on Friday. VanBeusekom covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 25 minutes, 41 seconds.
Three Golden Gophers immediately followed VanBeusekom over the finish line. Sophomore Seijen Takamura was fourth in 25:44, junior Eddie Kibira sixth in 25:47 and junior Todd Johnson sixth in 26:18.
Also competing for the Gophers was redshirt freshman David Krueger, who finished 20th in 27:41.
