DROP THE PUCK
As we begin a new NHL Season we want to remind everyone about the “Dropping the Puck” ceremony at Minnesota Wild hockey games.
As this is a promotional event, NCAA Bylaw 12.5.1.1 applies. Student-athletes may participate, but a few criteria must be followed.

As we begin a new NHL Season we want to remind everyone about the “Dropping the Puck” ceremony at Minnesota Wild hockey games.
As this is a promotional event, NCAA Bylaw 12.5.1.1 applies. Student-athletes may participate, but a few criteria must be followed.
- Student-athletes must obtain written permission from the Athletics Department prior to participating. The Promotional Activities Form is found on the Compliance Website.
- Student-athletes may wear a Minnesota Wild jersey, but may not keep the jersey. They may purchase the jersey at the regular price if they so choose. Student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility may keep the jerseys.
- Student-athletes may receive one ticket to watch the game in the general seating area of the arena only. No club seats, suites, or any other special accommodation seating is permitted.
- Student-athletes are permitted to receive a meal and/or refreshments in association with the event.
