MATCHUP
Minnesota returns home for its final non-conference game of the 2006-07 season when they play host to the Lions of SE Louisiana. The Lions have won four of their last five games after losing three in a row earlier this season. This is SE Louisiana’s the fourth game against a BCS Conference school. The Lions have defeated Oregon State, 65-63, in Corvallils and Penn State in Happy Valley, 69-66. Florida State defeated the Lions, 88-62, in Tallahassee.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
Last season, SE Louisiana’s season was disrupted by Hurricane Katrina and a rash of injuries that caused a combined 61 games missed. This season, life is back to normal and the Lions have a couple of impressive victories early in the season to their credit. The Lions are led in scoring by 6-4 senior guard Daryl Cohen. Cohen averaged 7.8 points per game last season and has upped his total so far this season to an impressive 18.7 ppg. Cohen is shooting .417 from the field (75-180), .392 from beyond the arc (51-130) and .852 (23-27) from the charity stripe. Senior forward Quennell Green is the only other player averaging in double figures at 14.3 ppg. Senior point guard Terry Bryant averages 9.8 points, leads the team in assists at 5.5 apg, and three-point shooting percentage at .444.
