- Siebert Field has hosted three NCAA Regionals (1974, 1977, and 2000)
- Minnesota played its first game on the field in 1971 when it was still called Bierman Field
- Prior to moving to Siebert Field, the Golden Gophers played on Delta Field, which is located right over the current left field wall
- On April 21, 1979, the field was dedicated to former head coach Dick Siebert, and was named Siebert Field. Prior to each game the number 24 sits in the at-bat part of the scoreboard in memory of Siebert
- Siebert was 132-20 at the field during his career, including 1977 when he led Minnesota to a 26-0 record at what was then called Bierman Field
- Minnesota has hosted six Big Ten Tournaments (1984, 1986, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004) at Siebert Field, and won the Big Ten Tournament in 2004 at Siebert Field
