TELEPHONE USE BY STUDENT-ATHLETES
As a reminder, student-athletes may not use institutional phones, fax machines, copiers or coaches’ calling cards/cellular phones for personal reasons. The NCAA considers this an extra benefit.
For all violations of this nature, the student-athlete must make restitution. Per NCAA Bylaws 16.01.1 and 16.01.1.1, if the benefit exceeds $100, the student-athlete will be declared ineligible until he/she has made restitution.
