Gophers Finish 12th at Lady Northern

The University of Minnesota women's golf team fjnished 12th at the Lady Northern in East Lansing, Mich. The Gophers carded a final round 325 for a three-round total of 955, 66 shots behind tournament titleist Michigan State.
Individually, the Gophers were led by junior Kelli Berns who tied for 42nd at 237 after a final round 80. Sophomore Young Na Lee tied for 44th, a shot behind Berns at 238 and a shot ahead of teammate senior Samantha Braschler. Braschler tied for 48th at 239. Freshman Christine Herzog carded a final round 80 and tied for 59th at 246. Freshman Leslie Grabeman and sophomore Anne Martin tied for 70th at 253.
The Gophers are back in action Oct. 6-7 at the Furman Invitational.
