LATE ARRIVAL TRACKING FORM & PROCESS
The athletic compliance office has completed giving presentations concerning team eligibility. This is a reminder that anyone joining the team from this time forward must complete the proper late arrival procedures. The tracking forms for late arrivals can be found on the compliance website under NCAA Bylaw 14: Eligibility.
The late arrival process is designed to make sure that everyone is aware of NCAA and institution policies when joining or re-joining a team. The process is initiated by someone on the coaching staff and walks the student-athlete through meetings with MAC, Compliance, Financial Aid, the Athletic Trainers and finally the equipment room. New student-athletes will not be issued equipment until presenting the appropriate and completed form to the equipment manager.
This is the best way of making sure our student-athletes are properly certified and that everyone involved knows which team the student-athletes are affiliated with.
