BENEFITS FOR NEW SIGNEES IN SUMMER PRIOR TO INITIAL ENROLLMENT
If a prospective student-athlete has signed an NLI and is on scholarship for summer school, certain benefits are available to that individual in the summer prior to initial enrollment. This student-athlete may receive the following:
- Academic support from the MAC
- Help in arranging housing
- Non-mandatory/voluntary summer workouts may be conducted in U of M facilities with strength and conditioning staff present
- Medical Expenses
- Occasional Meals
- Playbook/View game film
- Strength and conditioning program
- Issued workout apparel (if receiving athletic aid for summer classes prior to initial enrollment)
Please note that prospects may not participate in promotional appearances (e.g. State Fair) until the fall semester begins.
