| What made you want to dance at the University of Minnesota? | I wanted to continue dancing in college for a competitive team that I knew could make me a stronger dancer. The University of Minnesota Dance team has a powerful and successful program and embodies what it means to be a leader, a fearless, dedicated dancer and a true gopher! |
| When/where did you first start dancing? | I first started dancing when I was 4 years old at Kay Marie and Carol's School of Dance. |
| What's something that most people don't know about you? | I have the Hopkins High School record for the 100M hurdles. |
| What non-dance accomplishment are you most proud of? | I was the recipient of the Athena Award for most outstanding female athlete at Hopkins High School. |
| What do you like to do when you aren't dancing? | Watch movies and eat popcorn with my friends. |
| What is your favorite memory of this year's team? | Other than winning a double national championship, my favorite memories were all the little moments bonding with the team. |
| Do you have any tips for high school dancers who want to continue on in college? | Try out and attend the dance team clinics! Being on this team is so much bigger than just dancing. You create life long friends and you meet people who share the same interests as you do. |
