| When/where did you first start cheering? | I first started in 9th grade at Edina High School. |
| What made you want to cheer at the University of Minnesota? | Cheering in high school made me love the activity and I wanted to continue cheering in college because I couldn’t get enough of it, and there is no better workout than cheer. |
| What is your favorite part about cheering for the Gophers? | Getting to cheer in front of a huge student fan base, and wearing the M on my uniform to show my pride. |
| Who is your favorite Gopher athlete? | Eric Decker |
| What is your favorite cheerleading memory? | Placing top ten at nationals in Orlando, FL my senior year in high school. |
| What cheer accomplishment are you most proud of? | I am proud that I have learned so much in cheerleading as far as positions go, I can fly, base, backspot, and tumble. |
| What non-cheer accomplishment are you most proud of? | Attending the College of Biological Sciences at the University. |
| What do you like to do when you aren’t cheering on the Gophers? | I enjoy just hanging out with my friends and family. Also I spend a lot of time with all of the girls from my sorority (Pi Beta Phi). |
| Do you have any tips for high school cheerleaders who want to continue on in college? | Keep practicing and never give up, if you set goals for yourself then it feels very fulfilling to accomplish them. So always strive for your personal best to achieve your goals, and don’t be afraid to ask for help from other cheerleaders or coaches. |
