Emily Whitten is in her first year as a Graduate Assistant working primarily with Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving and Men's Gymnastics.

Whitten comes to the University of Minnesota from Nebraska where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in May of 2007. At the University of Nebraska, Whitten provided care for Volleyball and Women's Gymnastics.

Whitten is working on her Masters of Education degree in Kinesiology and is expected to graduate in 2009.
