Jen Chelton, MS, ATC | Office Phone: 612-625-6864 email: chelt001@umn.edu Jen Chelton serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Golden Gopher Women's Soccer team and has sport oversight with the Softball team. Chelton arrived at the University of Minnesota in 2000 after previously working at Pepperdine University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer form 1992-1995 until she was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer from 1995-2000. Graduating from Marietta College (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine (1989), Chelton furthered her athletic training experience at the University of Oregon. During her first year at Oregon, Chelton worked with local high school sports. Her second and third years at Oregon she worked with Women's Volleyball while obtaining her Masters' of Science degree in Physical Education and Human Movement Studies. Chelton took part in the 1999 Women's World Cup, organizing host athletic training services and serving as the primary venue athletic trainer.
