Rich Schlotfeldt, MS, ATC

 

Rich Schlotfeldt enters his ninth season working with the Golden Gopher Wrestling team as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Prior to arriving at the University of Minnesota in 2002, Schlotfeldt was the Head Athletic Trainer at Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio from 1997-2002. From 1995-97 Schlofeldt worked at Waukesha Clinic in Wisconsin. A native of Alvord, IA., Schlotfeldt completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa in 1993. He received his Masters of Science degree from the University of Oregon in 1995 in Exercise and Movement Science.

He currently resides in Andover, Minn., with his wife, Jennifer. The couple has three children: Connor (15), Eryn (12), and Sam (8).
