Gopher Divers Host the Minnesota Diving Invite

Minnesota diving hosted the Minnesota Diving Invite, in conjunction with the Minnesota Grand Prix today, at the University Aquatic Center. Sophomore diver Jacqueline Schroeder placed second overall and led the Gophers in the event. Schroeder held a score of 263.625 in the prelim and bettered her score in the finals to 277.95. Alex Barstad placed fourth overall with a finals score of 254.55. Taylor Enerson competed in her best meet of her short career, placing fifth overall with a score of 233.25. Maggie Thomas added a seventh-place finish with a score of 222.075.

The competition continues with the 1-meter competition tomorrow at noon.
