The University of Minnesota women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2006-07 academic year. The squad earned a 3.30 team grade point average during that period to earn the honor, which is given to teams that record a team GPA over 3.0.

A total of 413 soccer teams (114 men, 299 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the award. Six other Big Ten schools (Penn State, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan, Illinois and Northwestern) also were honored.
