Gophers Ranked No. 15 in USTFCCCA Preseason Poll

The Minnesota women’s track & field team, the defending Big Ten Conference indoor champion, was tabbed with the No. 15 ranking in the U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I Women’s Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll, released today.
LSU received the top billing in the poll, followed by Arizona State, Tennessee, Michigan and Stanford in the top five. The Golden Gophers and Michigan are joined by Penn State (No. 12), Iowa (No. 24) and Illinois (No.25) in the national poll.
Minnesota opens its indoor season on Jan. 12.
