END OF SEASON BANQUETS

As we near the end of several University of Minnesota athletic seasons, a short reminder concerning end of season banquets is in order.

  • Student-Athletes may attend the banquet for free (NCAA Bylaw 16.1.6).
  • The department may pay for a student-athlete’s child and/or spouse (16.6.1.6).
  • Parents, Fiancées and other relatives of student-athletes may attend the banquet, but must pay full/public-price.
  • All awards presented to student-athletes must be included in the annual awards limitation dictated by the NCAA and explained in the March 7th, 2007 weekly email.
