Minnesota Finishes 15th At Betsy Rawls Invitational

The University of Minnesota women's golf team finished 15th at the Betsy Rawls Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas. The Gophers shot their best round of the tournament with a 320 to finish with a 54-hole total of 974. Purdue took home the team crown with a score of 907, followed by TCU (918), Baylor (921) and Arkansas (923). Sophomore Young Na Lee led the Gophers in 36th place.
The Gophers improved each round, firing scores of 328-326-320. Individually, Young Na Lee, playing as an individual, shot a 78 on the final day to finish with a 54-hole total of 238 (+22) to lead Minnesota. Sydney Liles tied for 43rd with a score of 239 after carding a score of 79 in the final round. Kelli Berns carded a final round 79 to finish in a tie for 46th with a score of 240. Leslie Grabeman placed 70th with a score of 247 after a final round 81 and Samantha Braschler tied for 77th at 251 after a final round 82. Rounding out the Gopher lineup was Christine Herzog in 83rd at 257 following an 81 in the last round.
Minnesota returns to action April 9-10 at the Indiana Invitational at Crooked Stick in Indianapolis.
