Arkansas-Ole Miss Boxscore

Ole Miss (8-3) scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally from a 4-2 deficit to defeat Arkansas (9-4) 5-4 on Friday, Mar. 2 at the Metrodome.
The Razorbacks never trailed until the bottom of the eighth innning when the Rebels came up with three runs off relievers Chris Roads (1 runs) and Jess Todd (2 runs)
to take a one-run lead that would hold up.
Arkansas got the scoring started in the top of the first on an RBI single by Brad Secrist to make it 1-0. Ole Miss tied it in the bottom of the fourth on a sacrifice fly by
Zach Cozart.
The Razorbacks moved ahead 2-1 in the top of the sixth on an RBI single by Casey Coon. Ole Miss answered with a single run in the bottom of the seventh on an Andrew
Clark solo home run to tie it at 2-2.
Arkansas moved ahead 4-2 in the top of the eighth inning. Coon doubled to make it 3-2, and Ben Tschepikow came home to scored on when the second baseman bobbled
the cutoff throw to give the Razorbacks a two-run lead.
Clark delivered an RBI double to cut the Arkansas lead to 4-3 in the bottom of the eighth. Pinch-runner JoJo Tann came home on a wild pitch to tie the game at 4-4. Evan Button's
sacrifice fly gave the Rebels the one-run lead at 5-4.
Scott Bittle pitched the final inning to pick up his fourth save for Ole Miss. Craig Rodriguez gave up two runs in an inning, but picked up the win to move to 1-0. Will Kline started
for the Rebels and gave up four hits and two runs in seven innings of work, while striking out eight batters.
Todd gave up two runs in one inning to take the loss and fall to 1-1 for Arkansas. Shaun Seibert started and pitched five innings, gave up three hits, one run and struck out
four batters.
Jake Dugger was 2-for-3 with three runs for Arkansas, while Coon was 2-for-4 with two runs.
Clark was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
