Minnesota-Northern Iowa Game Moved to The Metrodome
The Minnesota-Northern Iowa game originally scheduled to be played at Cedar Falls, Iowa on Wednesday, Apr. 11 at 3 p.m. has been moved to the Metrodome on Apr. 11 at 8 a.m. The move to the Metrodome was made because of impending bad weather that is set to hit Cedar Falls on Wednesday.
Admission to the game will be free, and Gate F will open at 7 a.m. for fans.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams in the Metrodome this year. On Mar. 28, Minnesota defeated the Panthers 8-1 in the Metrodome.
Minnesota will be playing for the first time since Mar. 31 when it split a doubleheader at Penn State, losing the first contest 3-2 and winning the second one 9-2.
The Golden Gophers will also host their first Big Ten home series of the year against Iowa at Siebert Field this week. Minnesota will face the Hawkeyes on Friday, Apr. 13 at 3:05 p.m., on Saturday, Apr. 14 at 1:05 p.m. and on Sunday, Apr. 15 at 1:05 p.m. The games on Friday and Saturday can be viewed live in the Gold Zone, while fans can listen to the doubleheader on Saturday.
