NCAA Hockey Regional Tickets on Sale Wednesday

Tickets for the 2009 NCAA men’s hockey West Regional at Mariucci Arena will go on sale Wed., Oct. 8 at 8 a.m. both at the Mariucci Arena box office and online at gophersports.com.
There is added incentive to get tickets early as any person buying tickets on the first day tickets go on sale will have the opportunity to win two tickets to the 2009 Men’s Frozen Four in Washington, D.C. A pair of Frozen Four tickets will be awarded to a person who is randomly selected from people who purchased regional tickets through the Internet, in-person or by phone. Season ticket holders who have already purchased tickets for the regional are automatically entered into the drawing.
Regional semifinal games will be played Fri., March 27 at 4:30 and 8 p.m. The regional final is set for Sat., March 28 at 8 p.m. If Minnesota earns a spot in the 16-team field, the Gophers will be assigned to play in the regional at Mariucci Arena.
Three-game ticket packages are priced at $80 each. All regional tickets are being sold as a three-game package through March 22. If any tickets remain after March 22, they will be available for individual sessions at an increased ticket price.
