Gopher Fan Rally Set for Bemidji State Trip

As a part of the University of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics’ Statewide Tour, a fan rally and reception has been set up prior to the Gophers’ Saturday game against Bemidji State. At the Gopher hotel, the Hampton Inn & Suites in Bemidji, Minn., a reception will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fans will get a chance to meet former Gopher coach Laura Halldorson, who will be sharing her insight on TCF Bank Stadium. Head coach Brad Frost and the team will arrive at noon before leaving for the game. Fans can also receive Gopher giveaways, posters, schedule cards and information about their new football stadium being bulit for the 2009 season.
