Illinois notched the best three-point shooting and field goal shooting performances against the Gophers this season, finishing 7-for-13 from beyond the arc.

With three three-pointers this evening, Blake Hoffarber has now made 53 three-pointers on the season. With the 53 three-pointers Hoffarber set a Minnesota freshman record for three-point field goals. Hoffarber passed Voshon Lenard (1991-92), who finished his freshman campaign with 51 triples.
Hoffarber finished with 11 points, marking his 11th double-figure scoring performance this season.
With 10 points, Lawrence Westbrook was in double figures for the 10th time this season and 12th time in his career.
Al Nolen scored 10 points, marking the fifth time this season the freshman has been in double figures.
Damian Johnson had a career-high 10 rebounds on the night. He also had nine points and four steals.
Johnson had six offensive rebounds on the night. It was his second straight game with six offensive boards. He has 12 offensive rebounds in the last two games for Minnesota.
