Minnesota Edges Missouri to Improve to 9-1

The Golden Gophers won 4-3, which was their closest dual of the season. In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings,
Senior Lindsay Risebrough sealed the victory for
Danielle Mousseau and Tijana Koprivica both won in their doubles and singles matches. Mousseau won the No. 3 doubles team with Mikayla Rogers 8-6, while Koprivica won the No. 2 doubles matchs with Alessandra Ferrazzi 8-5.
Mousseau had the easier singles match winning the No. 6 match 6-3, 6-2. Koprivica won her match 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 5 match.
Ferrazzi dropped her match at the No. 1 singles and Elena Kazakova lost her match at No. 4 singles.
Risebrough and Karina Chiarelli dropped the No. 1 doubles team and Chiarelli also lost her singles match at the No. 2.
“This was a team victory today,' Minnesota Coach Tyler Thomson said. “A lot of people contributed, but it was punctuated by great senior leadership from Lindsay Risebrough to clinch the match.'
