Minnesota - Penn State Doubleheader Canceled Due to Cold

Saturday's scheduled doubleheader between the Golden Gopher softball team and the Penn State Nittany Lions has been canceled due to cold weather and high winds. Temperatures were in the upper 20s with wind chill factors near 20 degrees in Minneapolis this morning.
Saturday's games will not be rescheduled. Minnesota (21-10, 4-2 Big Ten) has now lost 11 games this season due to inclement weather.
The Gophers are still scheduled to host No. 6 Michigan Sunday at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. That doubleheader will get underway at noon.
