Gopher Softball Announces Fall Invitational Schedule

The University of Minnesota softball program released the schedule for its annual Fall Invitational Thursday. The Gophers, who advanced to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals last spring for the first time since 1999, will host the event at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium on the U of M campus.
The Gophers will welcome St. Cloud State, Minnesota-Duluth, North Dakota State, UW-Superior and Concordia University to campus Sept. 27-28. The round-robin tournament will include five games each day. The Gophers' slate of games includes Saturday matchups with St. Cloud State and Minnesota-Duluth as well as games Sunday against NDSU and Concordia. Minnesota will play at 10:00 a.m. and noon each day.
