The University of Minnesota athletics department announced today that it will launch a new website devoted solely to TCF Bank Stadium. The website, www.tcfbankstadium.com, will debut on Monday, August 25, and include the latest information regarding the Golden Gopher football program’s new on-campus home.

The innovative new website was developed for the athletics department by Minneapolis-based Scout Interactive and features a bold clean look with easy-to-access self-descriptive menus that lead to a wealth of information.

Another key element of the website is the inclusion of virtual tours that provide an interactive, insiders look at nearly every aspect of the stadium.

“Our major goal in creating a stadium specific website was to effectively help drive our sales, marketing and communications efforts for TCF Bank Stadium,” said Jason Lafrenz, the athletics department’s director of marketing and ticket operations. “Tcfbankstadium.com is a one-stop shop for anything and everything related to the stadium.”

Information on season tickets, the new Gopher Points system, premium seating options and giving to the stadium is all featured prominently on the new site. Fans can also access data on the stadium’s construction time line, watch a live webcam and view the latest construction photo gallery.

“When it comes to raising funds for the TCF Bank Stadium one of the four pillars of our efforts was to have a strong website presence and this site certainly accomplishes that goal,” associate athletics director for development David Crum said. “The new tcfbankstadium.com website is a terrific vehicle for us to quickly and easily communicate with both fans and patrons all the amenities that TCF Bank Stadium has to offer and moving forward it will be the centerpiece for football ticket and premium seating information as well as stadium fund-raising efforts.”

The site will continue to be updated with fresh content as construction continues and new information becomes available. In the future, season ticket holders will also have the option to select their seats on the site with the help of a virtual interface once the seat selection process begins next spring. Parking and event information for the stadium will also be posted on the site as it becomes available.
