Edlin in First After Round One of Heather Farr

Junior Michelle Edlin of the Gophers sits in a tie for first place at two-under 70 after the first round of the Heather Farr Memorial hosted by the University of Colorado.
As a team, the Gophers are in fifth place at nine-over 297, ten strokes behind leader Southern Methodist. The second round was not completed on Sunday due to weather and the tournament will look to finish on Monday afternoon.
The Gophers had a balanced first round from all five players on the roster. Behind Edlin is junior Samantha Sommers (75) in a tie for 21st. Freshman Jaclyn Shepherd (76) and junior Mary Narzisi (76) are tied for 32nd. Junior Teresa Puga (77) rounds off the Gopher lineup in a tie for 40th.
