Bryant Earns Second-Straight Weekly Award

After winning two events in the dual against Iowa last weekend, Kelci Bryant has been named the Big Ten Diver of the Week, announced today by the conference office. It is the second award this season for the Gophers, both going to Bryant.

Bryant earns her second weekly laurel in as many weeks after dominating the diving field in Minnesota’s dual-meet win at Iowa. The Gopher sophomore captured top honors on both platforms, winning the one-meter event with a score of 314.85 – 50 points better than the second-place finisher. She then followed that performance by besting the three-meter completion by over 88 points for the event title. 

The Gophers host the Minnesota Grand Prix, Friday-Sunday at the University Aquatic Center. Action begins at 9 a.m. every day.
